DESCRIPTION
Opterna UTP Patch cords conform to ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-C.2, ISO/IEC 11801:2011 edition 2.2 and CENELEC EN 50173 (2011) for Category 6A/Class EA applications.
The products have been tested up to 500 MHz and are designed for high speed protocols such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10G) applications.
The patch cords are constructed of a SF/UTP stranded wire cable and comprises two modular plugs at both ends of the cables. The SF/UTP cable eliminate alien-crosstalk near the panel end. The RJ45 plugs are protected with molded snag-less boots that prevents the latch on the RJ45 plugs from getting damaged during installation.

- Insulated conductors uniformly twisted together to form a pair.
- The water resistant filling compound is applied to the air spaces within the cable core to provide the water-proofness.
- Wrapping is applied over the cable core.
- A flat aluminium foil coated with copolymer on both sides is applied longitudinally over the core covering as screen.
- Black linear-low density polyethylene compound is extruded over the screen.

LANmark-6 Patch Cords can be used to deliver a full end-to-end Class E solution. They provide improved data throughput and allow for the inclusion of a cross-connect or Consolidation Points for maximum system flexibility. They will also maximise the lifetime and long term performance of the system by minimising the risk of wear & tear damage which can be caused by using non-matched cords. LANmark-6 Cords feature a slim over-moulded boot which is kept inside the RJ45 boundaries to enable High Density Patching with 48 cords in 1 height unit. LANmark-6A Ultim cords are developed to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an)
and any other future Cat.6A application.
LANmark-6A Ultim Cords offer superior performance up to 500MHz and are matched
with other LANmark-6A components to provide improved data throughput in complex
channel configurations. Ultim cords use stranded cable and as such provide maximum
system flexibility for the use at Cross Connects and Consolidation points.
They will also maximise the lifetime and longevity of the system by minimising the risk
of wear & tear damage. Due to their good electrical performance and mechanical
stability, LANmark-6A Ultim cords can be used for accurate field testing of Cat 6A
cabling channels. .
Ultim Cords feature a slim boot for mechanical protection, which is kept inside the
RJ45 boundaries to enable High Density Patching with 48 cords in 1 height unit.
